I cant believe this game got ported to iOS. this was one of the games that got me into gaming like 14 years ago. its such a faithful port no bugs no crashes, same everything as the original. and all of these top down air combat games for iOS cant even come close to being as good as this game. this game really should be featured on a couple websites somewhere cuz it deserves to be top 25 and probably would be if the word got out about its existence.
I cant believe they ported this game! This was my favorite dos game when I was younger! It is such a good port!
Had so much fun when I was a kid playing this game on dos. Still the same fun.
Its incredible someone actually ported this game! It was among my favourites as a kid and hasnt lost a shred of value since. Even for those whove neer played this game, pick it up, its worth it. The port itself is very well done, it holds true to the original gameplay and feel. Moving around with your finger instead of the arrow keys works perfectly.
I cant believe I found this game on iOS. I spent countless hours on it as a child. Thank you to the person who ported it.

Some bad moments

i was born in 1985 and remember playing this like in 1995 during christmas while my relatives drank. it was one of the best games i have ever played and there needs to be more like these. Thank you for this game!
I used to play this game all the time in dos mode on windows 98 back in the day and now that its on ipod! its frickin awesome. although there are just a few thigns. the touch response controls are a little laggy but other than that. this game is dead on from the computer version. i frickin love it! Also if you could add a control scheme that includes a virtual stick and and an a button for primary weapons a b button for special weapons and a c and d button for cycling through the selectable weapons because its to annoying to have to reach to the corner of the screen to do it. thanks again for such an awesome come back with such a great classic.
Dude... If you dont know... Just buy this game. It is the ultimate BEST game you will buy for your mobile device.
My prayers have been answered. One of my favorite games of all time is now one the iphone. I love this game, but for some reason there is a problem with the minigun. I am using it in Bravo Sector wave three and it keeps disappearing from my inventory and I dont have the money for it. When I reload my save it does the same. Please fix it!
I was thinking about how great this game used to be and started looking for an updated version or comparable game online. This iPhone port is excellent. Exact gameplay as the orig... Blows iPhone platformers out of the sky (not literally, but close!).
@thespaciousmind: the game was made back in the 1990s before video games were popular or did the things that make them easy. You wouldnt say the same for the old "Super Mario" for NES would you? No! But that game was popular. This one was not as popular. They only people that knew about it were Appogee fans. Amazing game but its to slow and hard to crontrol on the phone. Id say pay the $4.99 and get it on ur pc.
